Came out way before I started studying at my university. My transsexuality has never been a problem, people have mostly been respectful, except for students who are closer to middle age, who have used the wrong pronouns, and asked invasive questions etc., nothing more than what I usually get in society. Professors have never been a problem.

Worth noting is that I live in Sweden, where there’s laws against discrimination, and the general social climate is very accepting and liberal, and even a super-conservative professor I had had no problems with me.
